Just wondering does anyone know where I could buy a 3 kg metal weight either online or in a store?

You can't, but you could buy 3kg of metal mass. :pac:

But seriously, would something like this suit?

I knew someone was going to make that joke.

Yeah tbh if I can't get my hands on a uniform weight I'll probably just buy a 3 kg dumbbell or something.

I don't know if size is a consideration for you, but those diving weights are quite compact which is why I suggested them. Dumbbells are usually pretty bulky.

    what are you're intentions?

Three Kg of anything is 3kg..........Plastic weight that you fill with sand or water are as good as metal weights.

    I'm well aware of that.

Are they compact? I've no experience of diving but presumably since they're lead they must be. Ideally it would be a metal weight of some sort that has a compact design.

Yes, well there are some people who think a ton of lead weighs more than a tonne of feathers.

If you're going diving, get the proper diving weights, don't take any chances.

If you're not going diving, what do you need the weight for?

If you have a special purpose, and you use lead, you can melt and mold it into any shape you want.
