    Yo,

I'm going to Soll, in Austria at New Years. Im going snowboarding and Im looking for onesie

Do you think something like this will suit

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mens-Snowsuit-Ski-Rescue-Insulated-Suit-Sizes-S-to-3X-/200405097120?pt=US_CSA_MC_Outerwear&var=&hash=item2ea9131aa0

Also, Im 6'2'', will I get XL or L?

    Thanks

At a guess, I'd say XL, but then again, it's American, so L might suffice.
I'd be more concerned about the quality. That's very cheap.. And you tend to to get what you pay for when it comes to ski gear.

By the looks of that it looks quite bulky and padded which might make riding in it difficult! If you are looking for a onsie, I would have a look at some of the retro Nevica one's which are pretty shocking. If you want something more up to date, might be a little tougher to find.

Yeah, I agree, I got the ski gear from LIDL last year, the jacket was grand but the trousers ripped in a few places after the first day. And the clips that stop the snow going up your back bust aswell. That's why Im looking at a onesie, rather than a 2 piece.

Yeah, the onesie I was looking at on eBay is really cheap compared to other onesies. There are Burton onesies on ebay that look like they're made of very high quality materials, but at 200 euro they're out of my budget.

Onesies are a joke on the hill.
Avoid them.... definitely avoid this one. Looks cheap and will last even less time than your lidl gear.

There are loads of places that sell good gear cheap it you are on a budget. 53 degrees north, snow and rock and the north face outlet in Kildare village all sell good gear cheap, though april/may is the best time to grab a bargain.
If you are happy with your jacket from last year then all you need is pants. Spend some extra cash, it's cold and if you are wearing cheap gear it can get wet esp. if you are a beginner. No better way to ruin your time on the slopes then being wet and cold in bad quality gear.

Onesies are very cool right now the likes of the Salomon Conspiracy which is probably the most advanced piece of clothing they do and most other companies have a very high end onsie range for big mountain riders.

Fashion be-damned! It will be a cold day in hell before I don a onsie on my snowboard!

My only gripes about snowboard gear are the countless, countless, pockets they seem to add to the jackets for some reason, and the fact that it's all baggy, I'm too old to wear clothes that look like they are designed for gnarly teenagers in a snowpark. In fact, last year I got rid of my snowboard jacket and replaced it with a ski jacket, it looks so much better and the tighter fit has zero effect on my ability to ride, jump, whatever.

Yeah but you look like a skier now :)

Yeah but you look like a skier now :)

With a giant ski attached to both feet!

Anyway, I've no issues with ski gear, some of it's very nice. And most of my party are skiers so I'm not going to take any flack over it.

Thankfully I spend 99% of my time in locations were snobikes or snowblades can not go :)
