    Hi,

Selling my old PC so building another from scratch. Budget is flexible to a point

This is what I am thinking about so far but open to suggestions of course

    CPU
Haswell i7 4770K (because it new and shiny) and I like to edit HD vids in a reasonable amount of time
    Cooler
Corsair 120mm Hydro Series H80i (Have used older corsair water coolers in the past and really liked them)
    SSD
Samsung 830 256gp (really like the read/write speeds)
    Chassis
Cooler Master HAF X USB 3.0 XL ATX Case or COOLER MASTER CM Storm Series Trooper (SGC-5000-KKN1) Black Steel
    (Cant decide about the case)
    Mobo
Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD3H ATX LGA1150 Motherboard (seems reasonable again will take any advice given)
    RAM
CORSAIR Vengeance LP 16GB (2 x 8GB) (very open to options)
    GPU
Head scratcher as I have a problem, I only have a 720 40in tv for a monitor but plan to join the Yamakasi club before xmas.
    PSU
Not sure what to do here, ideally quiet and reliable.

    Thanks for any advice.

Depends how much you want to spend. I'd recommend two 128GB SSD's for video editing. Two 660 TI's would be perfect for 1440P and a be quiet, super flower, Corsair PSU 700Watt are always the best

Are you running the SSD's in Raid0 ?
The 830 writes so fast I would rather keep the extra Sata slot free for down the line upgrades, same with the double GPU as I dont have the screen now for it so I can buy a second GPU in the future when I have the screen to use it.
