You can check the anpost.ie website to see the costs.

Pack any non-perishable food you like, no liquids, creams, no batteries, and try and keep it under 2kg if you want to keep the price reasonable.

P.S. I'd register it if I were you. This means you can track it online and get confirmation when she's received it.

I don't see why you can't just post it, I had a friend who was nursing in Saudi and she received parcels from home all the time.
You won't be allowed send liquids, gels or batteries. No idea why.

    Well, obviously.

If the gel is Semtex and the batteries power the detonator.

Hold the Taytos and Barry's Tea. Tell your sis to get her arse over to Abu Dhabi. ;)

Did anyone else read this as "shipping smallpox to Saudi"?

Don't forget the batteries. If they're smaller than a 'C' size then she wants a bigger present but won't need the lube.

Keep it under 2kg. That's the golden rule. Keeping it under 2kg means it is classed as a packet and will be cheaper. Go over 2kg and you're in Parcel territory and the costs are extortionate.
