Bathroom noises

    Hi,

we're planning to create a downstairs bathroom by partitioning off a section of our sitting room. The partition wall would ideally be as thin as possible. We are worried about the obvious bathroom noises being audible in the sitting room. What would be the best material to partition off this room?

    Regards
    Groom

use 3x2 battens for the stud wall and squeeze in 150mm Rock wool it will work a treat
