Hi, I'm wondering if theres any way of getting a scholarship for a french exchange? I have excellent junior cert results to back me up..

Or if any exchange agency's are holding a draw and the winner goes on an exchange to France?!

Would love to get to go to France on an exchange without breaking the bank!

    Thanks :D

As far as I know Stein Study Abroad holds an essay competition in around January each year. You have to write an essay in French (or German or Spanish) on a given topic and the first prize is a free place on one of their summer courses. Mind you, there'll be stiff competition and your chances of winning are really quite small.

And as for finding a French exchange friend, you should be able to find this on Google. For example, this http://irishstudentexchange.com/ comes up if you Google 'french exchange ireland'.

    Hope this helps :)
