06 1.6 vectra ACEA A5 oil?

    Hi is it ok to top up said car with ACEA A5 it says in the book that you should use GM-LL-025 and that ACEA A1 should never be used.

    Both the A5 and 025 are semi synth 5w-30.

    "GM-LL-025" is the engine manufacturer's oil spec, look for that on the tin. Ignore everything else as it has no relevenace. Halfords (for example) has a range of own-brand oils that match manufactuers' specs. Look for the tins with Vauxhall / Opel / GM on the front of the tin, then check the spec reference numbers in smaller writing bottom right on the front or on the back.
