Can anyone give a fault description for this code on a 2007 Toyota Corolla 1.4 D4D.

P2911, mil came on and off again shortly afterwards.

No obvious issues, but code wont clear.

    Tia Jim.

What diagnostic equipment did you use to do the scan on the ECU?

I haven't come across that code before!

Did the equipment not give an explanation of it?

Scanned with autoboss, (unknown code) may well be a red herring.

Going to put it on a Carman tomorrow and see what that makes of it.

Highest P2 code I have for a corolla is P2862.

Wonder does my other possibility that I posted make sense??

I think I just need to get it on a better scanner. It's a 1.4 diesel.

Only had a quick look at it, but it has to have a code stored after the mil being on, there's something wrong somewhere.

I'm no good to you so!

    Good luck with it.

Hopefully different diag equipment will give you a different code.

I am of the opinion that P2911 code does not exist.
