Why is the humour on boards so childish?

    About 1 in 100 of the witty/funny posts on boards are actually funny, the rest are mostly just cringe

    Everyone wants to be that funny person...it's shockin though when ya see the same drawn out unfunny responses.
    Esepcially when people rush in to get them as the first reply for a few thanks.

    Let them think what they want, being anonymous is one of the points of online forums. Maybe outsiders shouldn't judge all of boards users on the unfunny comments of some.
