Drying Clothes

Not really sure if this is the right area for this thread so Mods feel free to move it.

I'm living in a apartment in town which has no tumble dryer to dry clothes I moved into this apartment a month ago so drying clothes wasn't really a problem as I just hung them out on the line to dry.

Now that the weather is taking a turn for the worse its impossible to dry clothes without a tumble dryer. I've heard of a few alternatives for a tumble dryer such as a "indoor dryer". Are they any good?

What are the real alternatives to not having a tumble dryer?

If you are renting then the landlord legally has to provide you with a dryer if you don't have a garden.
    Details of minimum standards

    The landlord must provide:

Access to a clothes-dryer if the rented unit does not have a private garden or yard

Aside from that a clothes horse by a radiator if you have space is probably the next best thing.

I hate tumble dryers with a passion and couldn't hang anything on the line for 6 years due to having three exuberant Boxers with all-day access to the back garden. Dried absolutely everything on a clotheshorse, and never had any issues.

You'll save yourself a fortune on electricity aswell. Just don't overcrowd it, or they'll start smelling of damp long before they actually dry.
