My son was born with his right lung only. Is there anyone else in Ireland who can relate? its seemsvery rare.

I can only say that we had a teacher (more than 25 yrs ago now) in Belfast who only had one lung, he was quite slight but was a marathon runner.

Sorry, I couldn't tell you. He was very slight, skinny...perhaps it was from birth, but i would be guessing on that part. I can only recall that he was held up as an example or role model for overcoming disadvantage.

So long ago (20+yrs) that I can't give you more details than that.
