using medical card with a different doctor

    my doctor isnt open early tomorrow, i need to see a gp in the morning, can i use my medical card with a differenyt doctor

    I don't think so. Hence, why their name is on the medical card. You're doctor gets paid annually to take you on as a patient whether or not the see you once a year or 100 times a year. I'm not sure about after hours doctors like D-doc ect

    Don't know if it's the same all around the country but our after hours service (Midoc) is free with the medical card.

    Your medical card is valid for Doc out of hours home visits.
