Nct is booked for tomorrow afternoon in Fonthill.

I've had the car serviced last month so I'm hoping for a pass.

Do I have to remove car seats?

Do I have to have an empty boot?

And is there a cafe / refreshments at Fonthill (ill have two kids with me).?

There's a tea/coffee machine and a vending machine with sweets/crisps e.t.c up in the waiting area.

The boot should be empty, you can leave baby seats in but they will test them aswell as far as i know.

I often see people in the waiting room with their seats, I'd do that too if I were you

You need the boot to be empty. If you leave the seats in the car they will test to see if they are installed correctly. This is in the NCT manual on the NCT website.

Do you think I might be better leaving them in then? Obviously I want to make sure the kids are safe.

Honestly, if you/whoever installed the seat followed the instructions then it should be grand. I dont think the NCT lads are experts in baby seats so no guarantee that they wont miss something. If it was me I wouldnt go to the bother of removing the seat.

Others may have first hand experience though.
