Shrinking Violet body wrap

    Hi,

I've decided to get one of these wraps before a wedding as I've heard amazing things.

Would I be better off doing one right before the wedding or should I try to fit in 2 as the wedding is in a month? Hard to know if the results are temporary or if I'd lose even more if I did a few?

The wedding is on a Saturday so should I get it done 3 days before, as I've heard that it continues to work for 3 days? I presume I'll look my best 3 days after the wrap?

Finally, how does this fit in with getting my tan done? Should I get tan after I've done the wrap - is that ok?!

    Thanks in advance!

It's water loss, nothing more and only a very temporary loss I'm afraid- I don't know how salons are still making money on these things- you'd be better off cutting out bread for a day or two before the day.

Shrinking violet is not water weight that's dropped, it's fat molecules which are shrank. That said, despite all the raving and hype about it, I had this done in January, and although the measuring tape said I lost a few inches, I was very unimpressed and could not see any difference. She noticed my disappointment and told me it worked for a following three days, but I didn't notice any difference.

However, I do recommend the universal wraps. They ARE just water retention however, they're good if you just need that little extra boost for a wedding ect but IT IS NOT PERMANENT and is guaranteed for 30 days providing you don't gain any weight. It just feels better too, the mud improves the skin and your bound so tight with the wraps you feel compressed afterwards.

Also had one done, and would not recommend. Lost 4in all together from various parts of my body but felt no difference at all.

The girl who did it said I'd be as well having a hot bath, wrapping myself in cling film and getting under the duvet with a hot water bottle/electric blanket for a few nights in the future. Same effect really. Have been doing this at home and find my own method works just as well for shifting water weight if I have an event coming up.
