    Hiya folks.

Can I just bounce this off you for an opinion.

Mrs Superscouse reversing out this morning in the Ford Galaxy 1.8 tdci diesel.

Check coolant, service manual flashes up. She stopped car and waited a minute and it righted itself.

She drove about 8 miles on motorway over to me and I checked under the bonnet. Water tank below minimum. Mmmmmm. Never really checked it before! Checked oil dipstick, level normal but noticed a few little air bubbles on dipstick. No discoloring or mayonnaise of any kind.

Anything to be concerned about do you think? Obviously watching it daily now for the next week. Hopefully its normal and not head gasket....

If you never checked before it's hard to say anything really.
It could have been low for a long time or perhaps there is a small leak.

As you said, keep an eye on the level when hot and cold and see if it changes.
