    Hey all,

Just a quick question; does eating a large meal late at night have an adverse effect on weight loss??

I ask as I usually get a chance to have dinner untill around 8 30/9 30 every night and am wondering if this would negatively impact my weight loss goals?

Any and all advice is greatly appreciated!

Unless it affects your sleep,it won't affect your weight loss. I rarely eat before 8.30 and it hasn't been an issue. The notion that eating later in the evening has long since been debunked

Meal times is largely irrelevant for weight loss.
The only way it would have an impact would be if it was an extra meal. Which is people sometimes lose weight when impose rules such as no eating after 7pm (or a variation) they lose weight, they are simply cutting out a meal, subconsciously.
