1st time pc builder

My first draft pc, just from reading A LOT of builds and picking sufficient parts. I've never been a pc gamer (other than mmo's and MOBA's) but I'm making the change now. It's around 930euro i think (.838 exchange rate). I may overclock in future, hence the 3570k. The mobo is known to be very thin and fragile when building, and it's an inch shorter which means more awkward, and that scares me as a first timer.. I just want your opinions, suggestions and alternatives! Budget is 1000euro. But bear in mind I need monitor, mouse and keyboard still..

I just used that for more manageable building, but where I live most companies wouldn't deliver to. (Amazon DOES) What site do you people suggest anyway? I'm new to computer builds (don't mind my join date, I forgot my old acount)

Can add a cooler down the line. You could go with an AMD processor and not notice any difference in games either and would make the build much cheaper. You could also drop the 700 watt power supply for a 450 watt one and drop the motherboard to a cheaper one if you have no plan on SLI or crossfire in the future.

Seems pretty ideal. I've never owned an amd so I've no thoughts on that, intel has always been my go to cpu, what kind of price differences are we talking? GPU is amazing, does it come with fan? PSU was simply so I wouldn't have to buy a new one when upgrading, it's not important what I go. Again, I'd only change parts for noticeable savings (~20-50%). I wasn't planning on even getting an ssd to begin with, as my budget is low atm and it's not ESSENTIAL. Sure buy in future. Case hasn't won me over. Doesn't look like much air flow and it's ugly. HDD was what I was gonna get previously until I saw that 2tb was only 15 more expensive.

Edit: Shipping, how is it that cheap? How reliable is this site? Would they deliver to a local company, or post office?

Are you living in the UK? Because 2 Pounds total shipping cost from PC Partpicker merchants would not apply to Ireland. It's going to cost a lot more than that.

A 500 watt powersupply is more than enough if you are not planning on adding a second graphics card to your build down the line. The motherboard can be made cheaper if not planning on adding a second card. You can leave out the cooler if you have no plan on overclocking. Can leave out the SSD to make the build cheaper, can pick whatever case you want. Every single person on this site uses hardwareversand and its very reliable.

An AMD build will also make it cheaper and get identical performance in most games

You are better off putting more money into the gpu than the cpu for a gaming build. The FX6300 is a perfectly capable gaming processor which when overclocked will rival the 3570k in most games. Newer games making use of all 6 of it's threads show them pretty much on par.

With that board and cooler you should be able to push 4.5ghz+ easily.

Never OC'd before, so it'd be a challenge to me.. AMD looks good really, I'll look into them more. Will the amd build run every modern game at med-high?

I'm living out in county Cork, not in a town, and have had no problems getting deliveries. If it's an issue where your not there during the day then you can make arrangements with the delivery company. Like a depot pick up.

It'd cost me. I'm very out of the way for couriers. Usually use parcel motel as I can collect in my nearest town, and it's only 3.50.

Yes you should be able to run all games on or near max settings.

That graphics card has a lot of overclocking headroom as well. Stock turbo speed is only 930mhz and memory at 5000mhz. I'd expect at least 1100-1150mhz from the gpu and 5500-7000mhz from the memory depending on what memory is in it.

You could always drop the ssd for now and go with a 3570k or 4670k build if you wanted. You can always add one later.

That was my original plan, as I don't need an ssd right now. Still hard to get a nice Intel setup with ~800euro :c
It's just so hard to cheap out on what has to last me the next few years.
