It's the same price in Conns cameras. Not that great a deal really. It's €430 from Amazon.

i got my d3100 posted from amazon 2 or 3 years ago... and been getting all photography gear from them since (except for batteries)...

... a good way to check if they post to your location is to make a mock-purchase and follow the steps up to just before pressing the "purchase" button -- when you have to chose a location for the postage it'll tell you if it can (or not) be posted to you

Do you shoot video with it and if so how do you manage sound?

i don't shoot video with it -- i recorded a few things but i don't think the sound isn't really great (or, i wasn't really impressed with it)

then again, it's just my opinion and i haven't tested it that much... i'm sure new models would probably have improved features...

I bought a 3200 from Amazon last April no problem. Shipping is free.

You would really need an external mic. The lens Focus motor can be heard if you rely on the inbuilt mic.

I haven't used it for video at all yet. There's a good few examples though on YouTube. :)

What kind of video are you looking to shoot? I suppose if you were doing a non-stop scene it wouldnt be ideal...

it is for someone beginning who wants to make videos for youtube. not sure exactly about non stop scene. He wants good quality though 1080 and would be doing clips and then editing them in vegas movie studio
