Nothing new here, French do protectionism better than anyone, and the British TO underpay their staff. The TO will find another way round this, by having their staff do it on their days off, therefore no payment is exchanged.

Simon Butler is the man that runs the Company in Megeve that were at the centre of this. He has all ready won two court cases against the ESF and I am guessing he will probably take this one to the highest courts in the land. Basic issue here is resorts like Megeve are vulgarly expensive €10 for a beer is not unusual. The ESF have a stale formula that is not value for money and is probably one of the worst products in the Alps and only exists due to rampant protectionism.

Basically the ESF are losing business and money hand over fist but instead of changing they become more inverted and negative to competition.

There is a reason everyone hats the French!
