Looking for Collaborators

Hi. I'm a female singer-lyricist, looking to collaborate with like-minded musicians. There are a few projects that I would be interested in getting started. My music tastes are quite diverse so i'd be happy to get any of the following off the ground:

    1. I'm seeking a DJ/Producer to work with on electronic/house/techno music. I have tons of experience in this area. I have played music festivals and have a lot of studio experience. Influences include: Massive attack, Faithless, The Orb, Royksopp, Boards Of Canada, Leftfield, Basement Jaxx, Luke Vibert and Groove Armada.

    2. I'm looking to join a alternative band along the lines of Pixies, Breeders, Hole, Nine Inch Nails, Alice in Chains, Modest Mouse, Muse or Nirvana.

    3. This one may be a bit harder to find but here goes... I'd love to find fellow musicians interested in late 1920's/30's Jazz. Ragtime style stuff but add a modern twist to it in some way. This is where I need musicians to help me because there's only so much writing you can do on your own as a singer.

I am based in North Dublin but quite close to city centre. My availability is good as i'm self employed (I teach singing, incidentally) so I can pick my own hours pretty much. My voice is traditionally quite clear and mid ranged but I can sing quite high and low due to my job. I can also sing jazzy, gritty and soulful.

I am easy to get on with and am looking for same. I'm focussed and driven but relatively laid back too. So, if any of the above resonates with you, drop me a PM. Thanks.

Thanks for the reply dude. To be honest, I would really prefer not to have to do things remotely. I know from experience that it's a royal pain in the ass. I would like to have a creative input into the direction of the music too, not just lay down a few vocals here and there. Doing this remotely is nigh on impossible. But thanks for your interest and best of luck finding someone to work with. :)

Thanks for your reply JamieHogan1. I've had a look at your threads and they seem great. The thing is, i'm a good bit older than you and I would like to stick to working with musicians around my age bracket. Thanks though and good luck with starting your band.;)
