Just wondering is there any external L ATM or plans for one in Cork?

    Hi Brethitmanhart,

Thanks for contacting us through boards.ie.

We don't have any external lodgement devices in the Cork area at present but we will pass on your suggestion to the branch network. There is a self service lobby at 32 South Mall that is opened from 9am until 4pm Monday to Friday which may suit.

    Thanks
    Tara

    Hi,
I think it would be a great step forward if you installed one of these in Cork Airport. I've been through Dublin airport many times and always found it very handy to be able to lodge cash before I head back to the UK.
Whenever I come home it's generally for an occasion and take out quite a bit of cash to cover things. I nearly always head back over with a pocket full of unspent Euros which I'd like to stick back in my account before I go.
Dublin Airport has had a lodgement machine for many years now.
Come on BOI, get the finger out!

Sorry I know this is a very late post but are there any of these in Cork now? Or with Ulster Bank?

Thanks Nicola. I don't know if you (or anyone else) know whether other banks do the same, such as Ulster Bank?

Sorry, I forgot to ask, can you lodge both cheques and cash and whether you need a special envelope or anything. Cheers!

Hi kalipix, you'd probably need to check this with those banks separately.

At our external lodgement ATM's you can lodge either cheques or cash and these are lodged directly to the machine using your Bank of Ireland ATM card, you won't need to use an envelope.

    Thanks
    Nicola
