Madness in Mexico

So in Mexico city for the last week or so Teachers, Students, Parents and just about everyone else have been protesting against the new Education bill and tax hikes from Peña Nieto's government which will effectively mean education is unaffordable to the vast majority of people in the country.

The protests have been peaceful all week but this afternoon the Government has sent in the Army and Police to break up the protests because they are trying to save face and not allow a negative image of Mexico be displayed for Independence day on Sunday.

It's crazy, the army and police and rushing groups of Mothers, Fathers, Secondary and Third Level students and using tear gas and rubber bullets to disperse them.

Hopefully there are no major injuries!
