Anyone out there offered exploitation wages lately? I was chatting with a friend who was offered a permanent job at €7.45/ hour as a forklift driver. A friend of mine was given €30 for selling ice cream for a whole day. I've been offered work at minimum wage for part-time or temporary work. What about the door-to-door commission only sales jobs?

Was that 30 euro and free ice creams for the day?

Most employers seem to be trying to low ball at present and use the economy as both an excuse and also an opportunity to exploit. Even for very technically skilled manager roles I've generally seen the salaries offered drop by 25%+ in the last year. Sad thing is there's better money in places like the UK for the same roles so lots of really good people leave and then employers whine about how though it is to get the right skills in this market

Race to the bottom it seems.
