Mid 2007 macbook hard drive died

So it's 6 years old and was doing so well up until today.

The hard drive just started to make a clicking noise so I switched it off as quick as possible. Now it won't boot up so I'm thinking the hard drive has died on me. Not too bad as it was backed up

Now I'm looking for a replacement and I want to make sure I buy the right thing.
