    Telling comment by the photographer Spencer Murphy--

    The photograph was shot on large format film, Murphy said, "to give the images a depth and timelessness that I think would have been hard to achieve on a digital camera".

    Portra 400, I wonder? It has that characteristic slightly-pink tint. Great photo.

    I'd like to do more portrait photography. I started a project ages ago and never got around to finishing it.

    i think the winner is really good... tones are wonderful.

    Agree with magicbastarder anyone think the Kofi Annan is rubbish? Horrible black background and he looks as if he has fallen asleep!
