    I think I have Restless leg syndrome, I am consistantly moving my legs around like a ballerina in a trap..
    But even worse than that, I get to bed and;
    Left arm under the pillow, head on the pillow = 1 minute
    Right arm under the pillow, Left arm over my head, Face inbetween = 1 minute
    Criss cross of arms with face somewhere in the middle - feels most comfortable = 3 minutes

    Why can i not just go to bed, lie down and sleep, I know this is possible because in the morning it is the most beautiful thing !
    Why is it **** at night but paradise in the am?

    Whyyyy

    Will you let me know when you find out? Lots of problems getting to sleep but then can't get up in the morning.

    Also I have what mrs W calls 'slippy feet', lying on my back I bend my knees and the slowly my feet slide back down. Drives her nuts

    Take some extra magnesium (anything but the oxide type) - about 200gms an hour or so before bed. Sorted! Very relaxing, especially for that restless limbs syndrome.

    Yep. Or have bath in Epsom salts, or rub magnesium sulphate cream into the backs of your knees!

    Just about to step into an Epsom salt bath ;) Also, magnesium chloride solution (AKA magnesium oil) - peace and calm in a spray.

    Dont go to bed, just try stay up. I guarantee you if you convince yourself you're staying up to do something but just resting your eyes for a sec you'll be out like a light.

    Remember when i used to share a bed with my two brothers.

    They used to wake nearly every morning saying that they had dreamt they were fapping . Weirdos .

    I used to sleep in the middle of them.

    I only ever use to dream about being a world champion skier .

    But do you not do the following;
    - Arm under pillow,
    - One leg out streched
    - Other arm at silly angle
    - Other leg at silly angle

    Perfect !

    For 3 minutes

    New combinitation required !

    Some fairy dust and pixie farts should help too!

    sex is the best treatment for a good night sleep

    In rats, prolonged, complete sleep deprivation increased both food intake and energy expenditure with a net effect of weight loss and ultimately death.

    Cut down on the amount of time in front of a computer screen. I try to give at least an hour of no computer before going to bed. Try reading. I used to have problems sleeping but this has helped a lot.

    Serious question, what do your legs feel like when you stop moving them? Just uncomfortable?

    Well, you might gain a little from the placebo effect with those, but if you're looking for a scientific solution, try the magnesium.

    When I had it, they just felt like dead legs, heavy and with a weird sensation, like some force was trying to make them move!!! Horrible feeling.

    +1 ^^

    Def try not to use the computer for at least an hour before bed. Reading is also brilliant to calm the mind....just make sure not to read something too exciting though. And when time to sleep, switch off the light, lie on your back and force yourself to keep your eyes open and stare at the ceiling. For some reason, you get quite sleepy doing that. The eyes get almost sore trying to keep them open.

    However, these things don't work for me anymore. Am climbing the walls most nights despite taking sleeping tablets, using essential oils and listening to relaxation music. And then I only end up getting an hour or two sleep most nights now :(
