today the stop and oil pressure warning started coming on. goes off over 2k revs.

i serviced it when i bought it and have done 8 k miles since. (mainly city driving)

interval is ment to be 20k klms. i was going to do it at 10k miles.

any common issue with them. whats the chances of it being the oil pump?

plan was to change the oil, oil filter and pressure sensor.

any yes there is oil in it lol

Some talk of wobbly instrument switches on 'em. What mileage is on it, and what sort of oil is in it?

I was just about to say put some oil in, but you've tried that ...
The oil warning light comes on mine going up hill ect if the oil level gets low, and it uses a fair bit of oil... Stop light doesn't come on though ...
    Hope it's ok ...

Mmm. Is it using any oil? Possible causes of this are worn main bearings, a dying oil pump, or running too hot, to name a few. If I were you I'd get 'er checked out by someone who knows their onions. On the plus side, the oil pressure sensor has been known to pack up on them, and that'd be cheap'n'cheerful.

    Bugger-all. I'd start with the sensor/switch.

    Result.

I changed oil, oil filter and pressure sensor

Pressure sensor is very tight to get at.

I thought filter looked ok, father thought it looked fairly ****ed.

But no lights coming on so hopefully happy days

Also found a bolt for the timing belt cover was unscrewing and was about 1 mm away from the side of the auxiliary belts. Would never have seen it unlikely I done the pressure switch

    Chain on the 115dci

If its a metal cover its a chain. Plastic and you've got the old engine with belt
