    Anyone able to tell me exactly what they are doing in the town park.

    It looks like they are filling in the river from the park side, but they are now putting a dredger into the river.

    Dredging the river to try and prevent the apartments downstream from flooding this winter?

    The river is dredged every so often to remove the build up of silt and other rubbish to allow boats to pass safely and to avoid flooding.
