WWE filmed this week's episode of Smackdown from the Canadian Tire Center in Ottawa, Canada this Tuesday night, set to air on September 13th.

    Dark Match

-Tyson Kidd def. NXT Champion Bo Dallas. Kidd was super over in Canada, after Bo warmed up the crowd by cutting a promo about being in Montreal.

    WWE Smackdown
    Ottawa, Canada

-Big Show was forced to apologize to Triple H and the McMahon family for his "behavior" on Monday Night Raw. Triple H suspended him for the night without pay, and The Shield came down to attack him. Show almost fought them off, but Reigns caught him with a spear and the three hoisted him up for a triple powerbomb.

    (1) Aksana, Layla & Alicia Fox vs. Naomi, Natalya & Brie Bella ended in a brawl. Natalya had the Sharpshooter locked in to a big pop, until WWE Divas's Champion ran in and caused a disqualification.

-Vickie Guerrero cut a promo, but had so much heat nobody had a clue what she was saying.

-Fandango and R-Truth came out to do the dance contest they've been doing at live shows, but they are interrupted by The Miz, who comes out as "Mizco Inferno" - he's even got a big afro. Khali comes out too and a 4-way dance contest is announced. Miz wins by twerking (yes, really) and the babyfaces throw Fandango to the outside.

-The Divas segment is filmed again, for some reason.

-Ryback bullies a small local worker backstage, who wants to get in the ring with him. Good luck, kid.

-Vickie Guerrero tells Ricardo Rodriguez that he's not allowed in Rob Van Dam's corner because she's afraid of what Alberto del Rio will do to him... tonight when they're in a match against each other.

    (2) Santino def. Damien Sandow

-Michael Cole interviews Paul Heyman, who begs the WWE Universe not to order Night of Champions, because if they do CM Punk will slaughter him, and it will be the last time they ever see him again. Paul leaves as the crowd chants "goodybe".

    (3) Alberto del Rio def. Ricardo Rodriguez. Alberto refuses to release the Cross Arm Breaker, so Rob Van Dam comes out and hits him with a Frog Splash. RVD celebrates with the world title.

    (4) Dean Ambrose vs. Dolph Ziggler ends with an attack by Shield, following The Usos to even the odds. Vickie Guerrero books a 6-man tag instead.

    (5) The Shield def. Dolph Ziggler & The Usos

-WWE Hall of Famer Edge is out to host the Cutting Edge, and brings out his guests Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton. Edge asks the champion what it's like to be a sell-out, and Orton says he's just jealous because he is a 10-time champion; Edge reminds him that he's done it 11 times. Our host says that he knows what is best for business, and leaves the ring as Orton and Bryan go at it. Daniel Bryan gets the champion in the YES Lock and he taps out. Bryan holds the WWE Championship and celebrates with the crowd as the Smackdown taping comes to an end.

What's really cool is Edge wore one of the t-shirts from my wrestling store for the main event segment. Can't wait to see it.

The Cutting Edge needs to be a permanent segment imo, ten times better than MizTv

I might add - if anybody finds any pictures / videos can they post them please. It's this shirt he'll be wearing.

And again like Raw, HHH and The Shield no where around so

Well he's been out for a while, so I guess they wanted his return to have a win. Besides, it's not like WWE hasn't kinda buried the MITB winners in the past.

Its been said elsewhere but which Archie is this? Are Condor in cahoots with Vince? Did Wink teach HHH the 'its best for business' catchphrase?

That moment you lose all respect for Vince:

Love that Chimel did the Rated R Superstar bit, didn`t notice him on Raw if he was on it.

Thought this was a pretty good show and if you are planning to watch Night of Champions you should really watch it.

So when Show sides with HHH he will say it was because Bryan didn't help him v the Shield?
