Hey guys, just wondering if anyone could help me in regards to my circumstances...

Just got my learner permit for the first time and I want to be able to get on the road as cheaply as possible.

I'm trying to figure out the best way to do so, would it be better to go as a named driver under my father (8+ no claims) or get my own car and insurance, would no claims come into effect for me?

What situation (and how much?) does everyone else here have?

    Thanks!

Foe the first year an instructor I was on to recomended Me to go name driver on my partners policy as a first timer aswell.( still waiting in permit) as was trying to figure out the same thing I have my own car as does my partner but were going with another insurance company and Me name driver on his policy . Works out extremly cheaper. The money I'm saving from going name driver is going to be going on my lessons and after the 6 months go and sit my driving test. Hopedully pass and when the year us up start my own policy then as the cost will have gone down with the full licence. We've taken the instructors advice and looks like works out a lot better. & giod luck with the driving
