love to help her out by making her invites, replies etc. but I'm fining it expensive to source
papers and embellishments so my big question is does anyone know were I can source craft materials.
If anyone also had any ideas on how to make simply but great

Hi Maybecrafty, It depends where you live but the craft shops here are pretty awful and very expensive. The only place I have found to buy the card for your base in easons, You can get all your glues and decorations from the art and hobby shop and if you need ribbon the best place is definitely ebay. If you are looking for something specific let me know and I might be able to help.

Some of the Irish craft shops have closed down recently, which is sad, but reason being its cheaper to buy online. I go to Craft World when I go to Belfast which has a wedding stationery department all of its own for making your own wedding stationery, paper, card, ribbon, toppers, charms etc. Also I often drop into http://www.daintree.ie/ when I'm in town (Dublin), they have lovely stuff but pricey - but good for beautiful and simple ideas. Cork Art Supplies might help too, Treasure Bin in Donegal but I've never been to either of those, Crafty Angels in Newbridge in Kildare is another. Best to check the Sticky at the top of the forum. Cara Craft and Siopa Bui I think have closed.
