I am looking at an upgrade and I have the 680 in mind but I am not sure which one to go with, Every computer company under the sun has made their own version each with varying prices but which is better for gaming? Can anyone help me out, Thanks

What's your budget? The 680 isn't great value anymore (not that it ever really was), the 770 is out, and 670s are going so cheap. There are 200 pound 7950s on overclockers right now. There were 670s going as low at 180 pounds too.

I'm confused you're saying 680 is bad value which is true, but he said upgrade to a 650 or am I missing something?? I'm guessing he ment upgrading from a 650 to 680?

If so don't get a 680 so forget that card.. Best value to performance 2x 660ti pe will cost you 400.

If you want one powerful card the gtx 770 is your best option.

MSI gtx 770 twin frozen at 345. It is better than the 680 has faster memory and is cheaper in most cases.

Probably best sticking with a single card for 1080p. 2GB is enough. 3GB might be a safe bet for the coming gen. With that budget I'd say wait for AMD's new cards to be released in October. They will almost certainly outperform nVidia's current offerings and potentially be cheaper.

No one knows man ^^. 4 + months is forever in computers ;). Heck, nVidia will have 20nm cards out first/second quarter of 2014.

What is the rest of your rig? At 1080p your budget is more than sufficient.

    My rig is:
    ASRock B75 Pro3, Sockel 1155,
    8GB ram

    HIS HD 7850 2GB
    Seagate Barracuda 7200 1tb
    i5 3330k

Pretty nice build. You should be fine with that CPU for a while (can you force the Turbo Boost to be 4.0ghz on all 4 cores with your motherboard?). You won't be going SLI on that PSU, but you wouldn't want to on 1080p anyways.

I'd suggesting grabbing one of AMD's new cards in about 2 months or so when prices have dropped after they initially go on sale in October.
