    Hi
Would any1 be able to tell me whether Dingle would be a good place to go for a week away this time of year. Or would maybe cork city be better?

I may be biased but anywhere in the Kingdom of Kerry is the best there is :D

Dingle and Cork city would be two completely different types of breaks. What exactly are you looking for in your holiday? If it is hill walking, great food and craic head to Dingle. Theatre and shopping then Cork is the place. Great food there as well.

I'm from Cork, but spent last weekend in Dingle! Two totally weekends there - it really does depend on what kind of break you want. Dingle, you are looking at need a car for one thing, depending on where you are travelling from - it is quite a journey and you will be using the car quite a bit as there are so many beautiful spots to visit down there. If you do go - don't miss the Blasket visitor centre - fantastic exhibition on there at the moment of the McMonagle photographers' work over the years, along with the normal exhibit of island life etc.

Dingle for me spells out beaches, walks, sight seeing and exploring. I find it expensive enough for a nice meal.

Cork, is a city break. Loads to do and see, all depends on what you are into. Lots of great new restuarants around, lovely pubs and less time in the car.

    Thanks guys.
Still undecided. We want somewhere good and lively at night and abit of d sight seeing during the day. Maybe Killarney would be the best option and we can take a drive to Dingle.
