New social welfare card?

I recently received a letter saying I've to get a new social welfare card with a photo. No one else I know on the dole has received such a letter. Has anyone else got one recently?

i got one earlier in the year. went in, got my photo taken, answered 1 or 2 security questions that i'd have to answer on the phone a week or two later when my card arrived in the post and needed to be activated.
they take your old cardand destroy it, then give you a temporary piece of paper to use before the new card arrives.

Ah ok. I was beginning to wonder if others were getting theirs changed too. Thought it was strange enough it's not in the actual social welfare building itself. Thanks a million for replying though :-)
