Heuston Station to Blackrock Dart Station

Is it possible to get from Heuston Station at 4:35pm to Blackrock Dart Station/ or Blackrock Village vicinity by 5pm? I'm open to all modes of transport including luas, bus and taxi. It says the dart transit time from Pearse to Blackrock is 12 mins. Is this correct? Can you get from Heuston to Pearse or another nearby Dart station in 15mins at that time of evening? Thanks in advance.

25 minutes is going to be nigh impossible at the best of times man, even if you hail a taxi. Get a 145 from Heuston to D'Olier Street then high tail it to Tara Street for a DART. A Luas to Connolly and a DART from there is another option. If your train gets in early (Which is a good chance) it will buy you time but it will be tight going and be prepared to leg out off of the train.

Not a chance in hell of getting from Heuston to Blackrock in 25 minutes by public transport. Even without waiting for a tram and Dart.

It is just about possible by taxi with a clear run and not getting held up at traffic lights, but less so on weekdays as the evening rush is just kicking off at the time you need to travel.

Very tight to impossible transit time OP. If at all possible take an earlier train or bus and allow enough time to cross town. Even a taxi would struggle to get to Pearse or Tara Street Station in the time given.

The DART journey time is reasonably accurate.

Luas - walk from Abbey Street Luas Stop to Tara Street Station, don't go to Connolly.

Alternatively the first bus to show up at Heuston - they tend to be slightly faster than Luas.
