These have campagnolo C Record hubs - 8 speed on Mavic Mach 2CD rims with DT double butted spokes.

Wheels are in very good condition, limited mileage. Hubs perfectly smooth and not much wear on the rims. Looking for 190 for them and have a 13/23 cassette if needed.

    Hi,

Do they take Camp or Sram Cassette?

Hi - they are for an 8 speed campagnolo cassette. I don't know how the spacing compares with an 8 speed SRAM (if that's what you are running?) - or how cross compatible cassettes of that vintage are. I'll try and google it later.

Can you please let me know if the rear hub is for 130 or 126mm frame?
What is the spoke count on them? And how old are the wheels?

I like the wheels, but both of my old bikes are Shimano geared and I have no idea how much it would take to convert the hub or the bike to suit.
The older bike has a 7-speed 105 with Shimano freewheel and down tube shifters. If I change the shifters to say 8-speed Campagnolo down tube, will the rear mech be compatible or do I need a Campy mech as well? I know, it's getting complicated, but if you know how to get around this, let me know.

The rear wheel is for 130mm - so fits all new frames. Front wheel is 32 spoke and rear is 36. The wheels have had basically no use - rims and hubs are almost as new. If you were using friction down tube shifters then there wouldn't be any issues and any rear mech would work. Beyond that I'm not sure on compatibility - maybe google it.

Thanks, the shifters are actually the SIS system, so may be a problem. I will try to do some research online.

Thanks - if I remember those old SIS shifters, you could switch them to friction. Of course you loose some of the functionality then though.
