Weird chalky deposits

I looked out at the car there a while ago and noticed a lot of white spots on the car and white flakes on the wipers, went for a closer look and thought no way is that bird poo.

Up close it looked like petals, but I rubbed one and its like chalk, there's no smell and it just wipes away, anyone ever experience something like this?

    Really weird

Has it rained recently after a dry spell?

    Any neighbour burning something?

One of my neighbours were burning something out the back of their house, I'm guessing wood, and the car was covered in loads of white specks.

Sounds like a deposit from hard water that dried slowly.

Do you live in the country? It could be agricultural lime (overspray) that has been rained on but not fully washed away.

I think it was this, I was out hanging washing earlier and got the smell of smoke, although I couldnt see it anywhere and when I was driving later on, a piece of like burnt paper went up over the car!

    Flipping ridiculous!
