Howdy all, I know theres a few Irish sites for gear and obviously plenty of American. Im just wondering is there any good sites from mainland Europe like Germany or Sweden, Denmark etc, (the big kind of hunting areas)

Ive been trying my utmost to keep the business here in Ireland but I have to be honest and not naming names or anything - they are feckin useless ! I mean how many times should a lad have to email and call a place to try and give them business ??

Once maybe twice. Which brings me to why I bought me last two scopes in the US. A PITA trying to deal with Irish shops on line or over the phone.

What has more less finished me dealing with shops here is I ordered a slab of cartridges from a very well known online site and what arrived was completely different to what I ordered. Yes they were 12 guage 7.5 28g cartridges but they were the dirt cheap ones yet I was still charged for the more expensive ones that I ordered. A friend of mine ordered .22 hornet rounds and .22lr rounds arrived. . . . nuff said.

I thought buying ammo online would be great because my local lad only has a very limited range of stuff and there was a few different types I wanted to try. Lesson learned anyway.

Ive bought ammo/scopes/safes/lights etc online countless times from a few different Irish dealers and yet to have an issue.

Could just be that the person packing up the order was having a bad day and made a mistake. Or could be just that its a crap shop, just because its "well known" doesn't mean anything, could be well known for all the wrong reasons.

Have bought stuff on different Irish sites too but theres no real excuse for sending a man ammunition for a calibre he's not licensed for.
