This is an incomplete list, which may never be able to satisfy particular standards for completeness. You can help by expanding it with reliably sourced entries.

According to this, the first recorded pieing which can be accurately dated happeed in 1964, and the tradition is still alive and well today with At least three pieings recorded in 2012, 2011, and 2010, and a staggering eleven pieings recorded in 2009.
Going by the number of references (each pieing must be referenced in order to merit a Wikipedia mention), there have been 95 pieings since 1964. This is an average of 2 pieings per year.
The list includes people from all walks of life: Politicians, Clergymen, journalists, media personalities, authors, athletes, entertainers, performers, farmers, and even a Swedish king. Several perpetrators are serial offenders, with A. J. Burnett alone responsible for 7 pieings. However, most pieing victims seem to become streetwise following their ordeal, with not a single repeat incident mentioned (although this could be because Wikipedia is keeping track of individuals who have been pied and not individual incidents of pieing).

As far as I know, he was egged, not pied (unless there was 2 punching incidents, never know with him).
