    Hi all,

Looking to move into a house in Mount Argus Court in Harolds Cross. I'm due to start a job on Ringsend Road and wondering what is the best way to commute to work. Is cycling the best up the Canal? I'll need the car the odd day for work but I've heard traffic on the Canal in the mornings is Chronic

    Thanks

I'd cycle up the canal if I were you as it's pretty okay. You have a cycle lane on the roads adjoining the canal and a dedicated cycle route on the opposite side of the canal as well.

Driving will be mayhem at the best of times but if you must, consider heading across Harold's Cross Bridge and heading via South Circular Road, Hatch Street, Adelaide Road and then towards Ringsend from there.
