The Litter Poem

As part of my school's desperate struggle to get a Green Flag* a Green Schools notice board was put up in the main hall. Although mostly concerned with suspiciously symmetrical graphs and crayon drawings (oh the joys of secondary school), I found this little literary gem skulking away in the corner:

There's litter all around us
There's litter in the streets
There's litter in the bushes
There's litter at your feet

So let's play a game. You take the word "litter" out of the poem and replace it with another word. I'll start:

There's bones all around us
There's bones in the street
There's bones in the bushes
There's bones at your feet.


*Do northern schools get Orange Flags?
