Lookin at buying a new tractor but was wondering can anyone shed light on how heavy these tractors are on the diesel?

Im looking at a ford 7840, case 5140 and a john deere 6400

Would also appreciate if anyone could tell me what they are like to drive and operate and what to look out for.
We'd just be looking it to do the usual jobs eg ploughing etc

really looking the gallons per hour statistics on them cant find them anywhere lol

    Thanks for reading:)

Case is heavy enough on diesel but a mostly bulletproof engine. Go for a Powershift model for a bit more comfort for the operator. They get hot as hell inside them if you're working them hard so Aircon would be a nice option too.
Haven't any experience of the others so won't comment

Well this is the theory (in German but thankfully the numbers and charts are in english:D)

Fellows on the ground might tell you that in practice things are different

    7840 SLE

    Case 5140

    Deere 6400 PQ

Also some on tractordata - you won't always get a test result for the tractor you want but may get it's nearest neighbour, in this case a Deere 6300 - all theory again and all coming in very close to each other
