    It depends on the student. There is no school in Ireland where absolutely everyone excels. Some children work hard and try their best, some do not. Some have outside factors that influence how they do at school.

    There are many schools where children are given the chance to be the best they can, no matter what their ability level. There are some schools who do not take in the full ability range.

    The Irish Times prints a 'league table' of college entry percentages every year, if that is what you are looking for. Of course it doesn't say what entry restrictions each school puts on its admissions, so it's kind of meaningless in terms of making any judgement about a particular school.
