Car accident

    Hello all, I have a question and I hope someone can help me clear this out as I'm a bit confused on the situation.

    I was stationary in the car on the left side of the road in an estate where there were double-yellow lines, I was waiting for somebody to pick up while a car from my right side reversed out of the car park without looking in the mirrors for about 3-4 meters straight into my front right bumper and scratched my car leaving paint from it's car on it. Who exactly is at fault here and does anyone know any estimate costs for a scratch about 10-15 cm's long ?

    they are 100%...you were stationery and didn't hit anyone.

    Your in the right. They failed to check if it was safe to reverse. If their was a child standing their they would have hit them due to them not checking if it was safe to reverse.
    It's hard to know the cost of the repair bill without seeing a picture of the damage.
