exterior security light on permanently

I have several exterior lights, the ones that come on when you step near. one of them has the sensor built in, it has been on for some weeks and just now I have discovered its on all day as well as night. Is it sortable out ,or throw away? am not even certain how to disconnect it, its powered from a box on the wall. anyhow…

There's usually a little fiddly switch on the Sensor with several positions for setting the timer for how long the light stays on. One of the settings is for permanently on. Just locate the switch and turn it to a any new position. Then keep adjusting it until you get it to go off after a certain length of time .
