I got off the phone earlier to the central bank, as I burnt €200,000 and I was wondering would they reimburse me and print new €200,000 notes for me. I was quite shocked when they said they would not. This country has gone to the dogs.

This is a lie, but it poses a different question which actually is interesting. Can I subscribe to your newsletter?

The woman on the phone said that to me. She said they can only give out a set amount every couple of months to stop inflation. Ye jammy bástard got there before me.

I lost a twenty Euro note and they wouldn't reimburse me even though I gave a detailed description.

With so many notes in your pocket you'd think they would make a decent tune now and then.

Stupid thread? No, great thread! And highly original. Wasn't aware there were '€200,000 notes', so reading this thread hasn't been a complete waste of time.

Bertie is on the front and biffo is on the back, keep an eye out for them Bertie has a stash of them instead of a bank account.

    Only €200k. Peasant.

    Tossers.

    I think they're brilliant.

What if everyone were brave enough to do that at the same time?

Money can be used to powerful ends, and nowhere moreso than its destruction. Humanity has within its grasp the ability to bring the progressive principles that we claim to cherish to bear on the world, bloodlessly and silently.

It can do this by destroying the current manifestation of private property.

The fact that nobody is interested in doing this is should be a crucial moment in our awareness of our innate selfishness.

For that reason what these guys did is more valuable than almost any other artistic expression that I can think of.
