Rent Increase

I'm currently receiving rent allowance and have been in the same place for the last 2 years plus.

Even though rents in similar places have risen since we moved in here our landlord has been very accommodating and hasn't raised our rent, but he has said he plans on doing so soon.

I looked into it and apparently the rent allowance maximum rates have increased a few months ago. I was wondering if our landlord does increase the rent, but it's still under, or at, the maximum of the new rent allowances will I be able to get an increase in rent allowance and stay in the same place?

The rent allowance section may not accept an increase.

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.
