Gaming PC budget €1000

Hi guys,

Decided to build myself a gaming PC for €1,000 but can stretch to €1,200 max. Basically for playing the latest games coming out on max settings (if possible), GTA V, BF 4, Rome total war 2 etc.

Additionally, I'm looking to try sli/crossfire in the future so a motherboard that can support two graphics cards would be handy

1. What is your budget? [€1000 - 1200]

2. What will be the main purpose of the computer? Gaming - BF4, GTA V, Rome total war 2, Generals 2 etc.

3. Do you need a copy of Windows? No

4. Can you use any parts from an old computer? No

5. Do you need a monitor? No

5b. If no, what resolution is your current monitor and do you plan to upgrade in the near future? [1920x1080 and Yes, perhaps to a LED. Current monitor I have is a Dell ST2410 (http://reviews.cnet.com/lcd-monitors/dell-st2410/4507-3174_7-33749295.html)

6. Do you need any of these peripherals? No

I'm not an expert on building PC's but one of my friend's will help me out in that. Looking forward to people's thoughts

You could go for dual cards now if you wanted with that budget. Something like this would last a long ass time for 1080p.

The case comes in a few colors and there is the slightly better deep silence one model for €10 more if you want.

Thanks for that Bloodbath. I was thinking, would it better to have a single Gtx 770/760 right now and in a month or two, I'll get another one?
Or the two 660 ti will last for at least 12 months?

Also, it seems the RAM, SSD, case and the deep silence fan are out of stock. Is it possible for alternatives?
Just want the PC ready ASAP hehe

No bother

A 760 is only slightly faster than a 660ti. A 770 is really poor value for money. A pair of 660ti's is total overkill for 1080p. You will be pushing over 100fps in most games. More than the monitor can even display. I'd say a pair of them will last you at least 3-4 years before you need to think about upgrading.

The 660ti's also use very little power. 135w per card meaning low system power consumption for a dual gpu pc.

Alternative case. There is a few of those Nanoxia cases. Deep silence 1 and 2. Both are good, the 1 is a bit better for €10 more and they come in a few colors.
Alternative fans.

Just bought the whole thing there and went with the case that was €10 extra. Some prices went up so total came to €1225 with shipping.
