Tenner says you're in the south(Wexford)?

Red light usually means an authentication/password problem.

If you're not in the South, check that the modem hasn't defaulted back to default/factory settings. Being an Eircom modem, it would default to the Eircom log in details rather than the Vodafone ones.
Could be a fault as well but check the modem first.
