I placed and paid for an order and it still hasn't arrived. It's been 6 working days. It's listed as 'Despatched'. Very unusual. They're normally fairly prompt. I picked the Royal Mail First Class delivery option. What's the story if it doesn't arrive? I'm gonna give it until tomorrow evening before I contact them, just in case, but has anyone else been in this situation before?

It arrived. Although it took a bit of a knock. Vinyl cover is damaged. I suppose you can't get you post and have it in good condition.

I had words with them about 2 years ago about their packaging when about 3 records I bought arrived separately with damaged sleeves. The generic ones are ok but if someone has gone through the trouble to screen print artwork for their release it's **** when it arrives damaged. So I hounded them for a few weeks and they finally agreed to start putting cardboard inserts in to give the package more strength. I tried to get them up to a sheet of card on both sides like Phonica do but they wouldn't budge.

I think I might have to start shopping elsewhere. I'm gonna pick this up soon, but it won't be from Juno. "Limited, double gatefold, hand stamped". No way.

Never really had any issues with Juno, one missing package in 8 years with store credit given, obviously by the time i reordered the vinyl was out of stock. Their packaging has improved with larger box and bubble wrap and usually delivered within 3-4 days. I use Boomkat on occasion but their selection is becoming far to niche for my taste, I've not found a comparable site with with such a vast selection.

Boomkat's main goal is to climb as far up its own arse as possible. Their 'album of the year/month' is invariably some sort of experimental afro-drone workout released on limited edition Mongolian eyelid leather.

I don't think I've ever found enough to buy in one order on juno to warrant a bubble wrap package, their one downfall (besides the packaging for small orders) is that you can't build up an order. I get most/almost all of my records off clone. They're a really sound bunch, always understanding if money is a bit tight and will generally hold an order until you have the cash. Their packaging is great too, really good strong envelopes, never a damaged order (taps wood!).
